Many women experience changes to their intimate health at different stages of life, including after childbirth, pelvic surgery, or menopause. These may relate to pelvic floor function, vaginal comfort, hormonal changes, or urinary symptoms. Such concerns are common and can affect wellbeing, daily activities, or confidence.

At our clinic, consultations for intimate health are conducted privately by a female medical practitioner.

About “Vaginal Tightening” and Energy-Based Devices

Around the world, various energy-based technologies (such as lasers, radiofrequency, or ultrasound) have been explored for use in the vaginal or pelvic area.

In Australia, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) does not approve energy-based devices for vaginal tightening, rejuvenation, or similar indications. This is because current evidence is considered insufficient to confirm safety and effectiveness for these purposes.

For this reason, we do not advertise or promote these procedures for vaginal tightening or rejuvenation.

Our Clinical Approach

We provide a medically focused assessment to help identify contributing factors and appropriate next steps. This may include:

  • Reviewing your symptoms and medical history

  • Assessing factors such as hormonal changes, pelvic floor support, or previous procedures

  • Discussing evidence-based management pathways

  • Providing referrals where appropriate, including to:

    • Gynaecologists

    • Pelvic floor physiotherapists

    • Women’s health or hormone specialists

Our goal is to offer supportive, respectful, and patient-centred care.

Confidential Consultation

If you have concerns relating to intimate health or changes following childbirth, surgery, or menopause, you may wish to discuss them in a confidential medical consultation with our female doctor.
Your appointment will focus on understanding your symptoms and determining whether further assessment or specialist referral is appropriate.
